Field Clerk – Airfreight

The Field Clerk – Airfreight will be responsible for overseeing the physical handling and documentation of airfreight shipments on-site. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with local airlines, warehouses, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth operations of airfreight shipments.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods at airports and other facilities.
  • Inspect shipments for damages and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including pick-up and delivery details.
  • Act as a liaison between the office and field teams, ensuring clear communication and problem resolution.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Professional Certifications in Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding, or similar qualifications.
  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (advantageous).
  • Previous experience in airfreight preferred.
  • Good understanding of airfreight regulations and safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
