Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring
accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and
supporting the overall financial health of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:

  • Process invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and payment within company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of payments to suppliers and service providers.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Assist in the preparation and dispatch of customer invoices.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts and payments.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate customer records.


Filing and Documentation:

  • Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
  • Ensure documents are properly stored and accessible for audits and reviews.


Compliance and Procedures:

  • Adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.


Qualifications:
Education:

  • A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (CPA) are a plus.


Experience:

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is desirable but not required.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices is beneficial.


Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with team members.
